I value time. It’s a constantly depleting resource that we never have enough of for what matters to us most. So when I’m asked why I help people plan their Disney World vacations, my answer is simply that I value their time. I’m not interested in being a travel agent. My passion is knowing that people are able to take time with their loved ones, away from the rigors of daily life, and make the most of it.
Walt Disney World is amazing. There are features that cater to a wide variety of interests and budgets. But this wide variety is also what causes confusion for vacationers. The dizzying array of options makes their heads spin! Disney should be thought of as a big city, such as New York or Paris. You would certainly plan ahead before visiting those destinations and you would never dream of seeing it all in one trip.
Embrace the planning part of your vacation. Get joy from discovering the gems that will excite your family. Let yourself daydream about splashing in the pool with your kids or having a romantic dinner with your spouse. Familiarize yourself with the various rides, shows, characters, and entertainment offerings. Think of these as available options, rather than anything you must do. It rains. Rides close unexpectedly. Lines get long. Disappointing? Sure. But, there is always something else fun to do!
Thank you for allowing me to share the experience of Disney with you. It isn’t about one ride or a particular hotel or a certain dining reservation. It’s about being in a place with people you love, surrounded by whimsy and fantasy. And that is not something you’ll experience very often. So, what is it about Walt Disney World that has you interested in visiting?
